Nature at her beautiful best – that’s what you will experience at the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. The largest botanical garden in South East Asia, this tropical oasis is just 23 kilometers from the centre of Pattaya. You will happily wander through the many different gardens that Nong Nooch has on display. The garden was established more than 30 years ago, to help conserve Thailand’s botanical and wildlife heritage.
On your tour of Nong Nooch, there are some fantastic highlights that you must see:
The Orchid Garden – There are more than 650 species on display, making the garden one of the largest collections of orchids in all of Thailand. There is always a wonderful assortment of these beautiful flowers in full bloom.
The French Garden – This was the original garden that the owners developed at Nong Nooch. It is easy to see how they must have been inspired by the gardens of Europe – it’s a wonderful example of its kind.
The Cactus Garden – Thailand and cacti don’t always spring to mind at the same time, but as you make your way through this display, you might just forget that you aren’t in the desert.
They also have the largest display of palms and cycads in the world, and many other gardens inspired by the beauty of nature.
